Microsoft is reported to be interested in buying Yahoo, If Microsoft decides to buy Yahoo it will very beneficial to Microsoft. As we all know their greatest rival Google has been chewing Yahoo up for some years, Google has been the main search engine of the Internet. Yes Microsoft has their own search engine but it’s not even comparable to Google. So what better to do then getting the number two search engine in Yahoo. Microsoft would get Flickr, which is the fastest growing image uploader site on the Internet. Pretty much all the geeks use Flickr and it is starting to make a name for its self for the regular user. Which is probably using Photobucket, and who better to promote all the good products Yahoo has then Microsoft. Microsoft is the beast of the computer industry, they have been in a tangle since releasing Windows Vista, and a lot of Windows users are just praying that Windows 7 will be there long awaited Operating System they would hope for. Yahoo will provide them with more tools at their disposal. In conclusion it would be a win for Microsoft to make the deal.

Apple released a new Cinema display perfect for the MacBook and MacBook Pro. It is a 24-inch display with a really high resolution. A cool feature of the display is that Apple put led lights in it so it will be just as bright and vivid as the MacBook your plugging into it. The one thing that I really love which Apple did they put a mag-safe power adapter into it, an usb dongle and the mini video plug. So you don’t need to plug the charging brick into it. Apple made it really consumer friendly and easy to setup. I rate this product 4 out of 5 stars. The only bad thing about the display it is really expensive. The display is priced at $899. So its pretty much like buying another laptop.

Apple today introduced a new MacBook and MacBook Pro series. The built in graphics is now Nvidia, they completely redesigned the look and feel of the MacBook’s and MacBook Pro’s. Now there is a 999$ MacBook but it is the original design it has really good specs. The whole keyboard on both is pure aluminum made from one solid piece. So every MacBook is perfect, Ultra-thin LED display. So they made the laptops a lot skinner. They changed the whole trackpad around and made it out of glass it is also multi-touch. The trackpad is also one signal button! So pretty much the trackpad is just like the screen of an iPod Touch or an iPhone. The Nvidia Graphics is up to 5x faster so that’s really good. All in all it was a really good laptop update by apple.

There is going to be an apple event on October 14th to announce new Mac books and hopefully some other stuff. They are said to have a new brick like design witch if it is a brick design it will be made out of aluminum. There is a big brick of aluminum and it gets cut out by lasers, which makes it so the laptop doesn’t have any screws and it will have a perfect cut. There is also more rumors that apple will also release and $800 Mac book. That would be a game changer by apple if they do that lot of people cannot afford a $1000 dollar Mac book, along with students. If they decided to do this I will get one if the specs are good and knowing apple they usually make a product cheaper and better. So lets see what they do this time.

Amazon just introduced Video on Demand or VOD you can rent movies and t.v. shows.There is a couple free t.v. shows, out right now. They claim that, the t.v. shows they get are released before they premiere on Television. The quality is okay, it’s watchable but nothing special. The thing I like about it is that it can go full screen. Not like the Video’s released on ABC or CBS they don’t have the full screen feature and there is on commercials, no commercials on amazon’s Vod so go check it out at http://tinyurl.com/4yq963

The iPod Touch had been really solid for me. I have the 1st gen. iPod, I wish I could of got the new one the speaker is a great addition to the product. I love the fact I could put 3rd party apps now Legally. It really nice for wifi internet access, so I can post to twitter on the go. The mail app is really great its simple and easy to use and a great mobile mail app. One thing I wish the iPod has is a mic. so I could talk to my friends on Skype that would make it a knock out. Overall I would rate the iPod Touch a 4/5.
